They're the same crowd that ridicules any and all religions since
the notion of metaphorical language is beyond their comprehension.
They read everything literally.

When she said this....

"she met U.S. actor Tom Cruise - in a previous life."

With the metaphors properly translated... "Met", in her religion
this means where the two mindshave become one, or have loved.
And "Life" is a metaphor for menstrual cycles.
So what she really meant was that she had a wet-dream about
Tom Cruise in the last thirty days...or so. Not so odd, unless
you've seen Cruise in his latest movie!

Notice she said only her 'soul' went there.

And this....
