Solid oxygen generators ("candles")
If I am not wrong, "candles" for oxygen generation in Mir were made of
lithium perchlorate, whereas the same device in ISS is made of potassium perchlorate. I think that both devices, for Mir and for ISS, were manufactured by the russians... So, why that change in their composition? Regards, Javier Casado http://es.geocities.com/fjcasadop |
