John Lennon was murdered three months later on Dec 8, 1980

Boo Hoo.

Those were strange days, indeed... I remember them like yesterday, and
not sure if I've archived those memories yet, or not, so this might be
the year to dig into that.

Yes they were... December 8th is also Gregg Allman's birthday...

Several of the folks I know in Macon, introduced to me by Eileen
d'Esterno, run in the same circles as Gregg Allman. I'd sure dig
meeting him someday, if the Fates allow.

Do you want polite or do you want sincere?

Either one would be fine.

Oh look, "Jonathan" the famous plagiarist is back.

How's the "passing Emily Dickinson's work off as your own" shtick
working out for you nowadays, Jonny-boy?

It's been years since I heard the pleasant words and flowing
wisdom from the [poet] Peter J Ross. Why is it every time
I hear your name, this old Emily poem comes to mind?

A Face devoid of love or grace,
A hateful, hard, successful face,
A face with which a stone
Would feel as thoroughly at ease
As were they old acquaintances,-
First time together thrown.

And I'm famous? Wow, didn't know I made such
a lasting impact? I've entirely forgotten why we used
to argue.
