Default MEADE DSI camera/software problems

I am trying in vain to get my DSI to work on my laptop. The computer is
running XP and the software arrears to load OK but there is a problem
recognising the camera. I remove the program, reload and the computer
recognises the camera, however when I restart the computer the camera is
not seen!

Help please, is there a software update that I should be using?

Thanks in advance,

David.

Do you have the latest Active X 9 installed on your computer?

Have you installed the update from Meade's web page? That is what I had
to do with mine.

BTW, there is a Yahoo group for the DSI.

I think I read somewhere(Astromart..a review) that you need to have the
service pack 2 for XP installed on your computer. If you already have
that....sorry that I couldn't be of better help.

SP2 is not required for the DSI s/w to run on XP.
