Huge Sunspots
Go to http://www.spaceweather.com and catch the latest news on the two
giant 'Jupiter sized' sunspots which are crossing the sun's photosphere. The kind of activity going on is precisely the kind of activity that if increased several fold could easily trigger the onset of a rapid magnetic pole reversal sequence for the Earth. Mankind must be prepared to face the horror story of all of the violent and rapid geological changes which must ensue as a function of a mode change of the Earth's Electromagnetotoroid (EMT) from the large scale E loop mode which displays the features of a magnetic dipole to the H loop mode which will display the features of a large scale electric dipole. This kind of activity has been happening for centuries. It has little if any effect on the internally-generated portion of the Earth's magnetic field. A strong geomagnetic storm will cause variations in the measured strength of the field up here, but down inside the Earth, the effects of the storm will be negligable. Wrong. This kind of activity has been happening for centuries. That's not true. These are unusually big sunspots. And as I stated 'if increased several fold' then there would be cause for concern. It has little if any effect on the internally-generated portion of the Earth's magnetic field. A strong geomagnetic storm will cause variations in the measured strength of the field up here, but down inside the Earth, the effects of the storm will be negligable. Utter blustery nonsense. In fact, the dynamics of the generation of the Earth's magnetic field is not known by the general community of geophysicists. Even less is known about the processes which cause a dipole reversal sequence to begin to take place. For you to stand forth and pontificate otherwise is dishonest as well as irresponsible. I've spent years studying the physics of flux loop structures, the mechanism for their generation and have discovered the mechanism for the mode change of one type of flux loop into the other. You don't see the danger because you haven't a clue as to the underlying physics. The reality is that several violent solar flares in rapid succession, perhaps coupled with the impact upon the Earth's primary electromagnetotoroid of a squarely aimed Coronal Mass Ejection, could, in fact, stimulate the Earth's EMT into undergoing a fairly rapid mode change. That you remain ignorant of the basic physics of flux loop systems is quite understandable but that you pretend to an understanding of the Earth's magnetic field so as to attempt to assure people that there's nothing to worry about is beyond rational comprehension. You assume that this just an opportunity for you to start a ****ing contest, Knisely. In fact, it should be an opportunity for you to learn something. But then how is it that you could learn anything when you have given the impression that you already know everything? Of course, I'm Charles Cagle. Changing my email address was an attempt to shed myself of spam, not an attempt at disguising my identity. Ah, yes, another fear monger (you wouldn't be related to a certain "Cagle" now would you?). Fear monger? I'm not selling it. People should be concerned with the greatly devastating geological changes which will accompany a mode change of the Earth's EMT. There are perhaps a billion or more Christians in the world and the prophecies of Christ (and Isaiah and others) as to the coming devastation of the Day of Wrath are or should be of immediate concern to many of them. Clearly predicted is a violent solar maximum, solar scorching of the Earth's surface, giant Earthquakes, Tsunamis, the rapid descent of whole mountain chains, the rapid rise of other new mountain systems. In fact, the violence of these coming events will probably kill two thirds of mankind. If people can take some preparatory action that might enhance their chances for survival then you shouldn't try to thwart any warning that is given to them. Of course, you don't believe that you will be held responsible for any of your actions, but nevertheless you will be. Hold your peace, David, and make things easier on yourself. There are a number of groups in observational history which are on the same order of size as the ones currently active. Utter blustery nonsense. Yup, that is what you are spouting "Chuckie".
