You seem to be a bit confused. There is no Liberal Democrat Party in the
USA. There isn't any Republican party in any of the countries that have
a Liberal Democrat Party: UK, Australia, Japan, Turkey, ...
In most cases, the US Republicans and non US Liberal Democrats are closer
ideologically than either are to the Democratic Party of the United States
or the Christian Democratic Party of a number of other countries where
they oppose a Liberal Democrat Party.
