they're spending money in a way that would put liberals to shame and
also expanding government in an extrodinarily reckless way. What
exactly is conservative about this crop of Republicans? Statists, yes.
But, conservatives? Now come on.

I think you need some tutoring on modern American politics.


Traditional Liberal: Central government has a role in all social
problems. And government should do it, not those redneck
"Christians." My toilet is plugged up, so what is the federal
government going to do about it already? But don't spend money on the
military, as war is not good for children and other living things. And
by the way, you should call me Mommy.

Greens: Look at all those techno-twerps. They like technology just for
the sake of technology, and they're ruining this nice natural world.
Nature is good. Technology is bad, bad, bad, and you need lots of
lawyers to keep it in check. Because it's all controlled by
corporations, you know. Which are also bad. Lawyers and university
English professors should run the world from their tree houses. If they
need computers to do it, well we might allow them a few, so long as
they are made sustainably. But don't ask the corporations how to do
that. University professors will tell you how. Female university
professors who aren't really in love with technology, and so aren't
seduced by it.

Libertarians. Anarchy is the solution to the world's problems. No more
governments. Just corporations. And if we need judges and jails and
police, we let the corporations run them. And if there are bad
corporations, I can be protected from them by joining my good
protection corporation. Which will be the biggest, badest corporation
with the most weapons. But nice.

Traditional Conservative. America just better kick butt around the
world, bro! This country is special to Jeeezus, and so am I, praise the
Lord. Let some taxes go to the churches to take care of the poor, those
that aren't too lazy to work. As for the rest of the troublemakers,
that's what jails are for. That's how we do it in Dixie. Who's yer
daddy, babe? Shouda nuked Vietnam when we had the chance, the little
