Nope. So far as I know, Bush has never once mentioned the mythical land
"Irak."

Umm, you do know that's how some furriners spell it, don't you? Oh, but of
course, since they're not Amerikans, and therefore not human, they don't
count.

So? This isn't a French-language newsgroup.

Umm, you do know that's how some furriners spell it, don't you?

Quick Google search reveals the spelling used in:

German
Spanish
Norwegian
Czech
Dutch
French
Danish
Finnish

Not that anyone cares, but whatever. It looks like our spelling is the
exception. Honestly I've seen it spelled with a 'k' so often that I
didn't even pick up on it until Lowther's post.

So ? *Acknowledging* that English *isn't* the only language of the
world is appropriate.

Since you claimed that " Irak " is *mythical*, then its clear that
*you don't believe that the French language EXISTS*...

How " Ugly American " of you...

I know this is futile but the Ugly American was the character
most likely to have known French in the novel of that name.

French cuisine is a LOT better then Mac Donalds
Since many times in your life you have to eat, it seems it is a better
place to live, except in the south where all is radio-active ;-),
but US did a good job too bombing there own cities.
And, come to think of it, Eifel Tower is higher then what is left
of those 2 buildings in NewYork.

Am I imagining this, or is American humbug increasing after Bush
has announced space plans?
What a load of parrots.
But it is perhaps just jealousy, France is too expensive 9(nd all of the Euro zone),
for the average American, soon it will be 2 dollars to the Euro.
And the living standard of Americans will drop below that of a 3rd world country.
Better stop here, well Billy The Gates will still be able to afford a hotel room in
Paris.
