Default Q: Shockwave Flash simulator

Does anyone here know of a simple, yet good night sky simulator? I'm new to
astronomy, and so not quite sure what to search for on the internet. What I'm
after is I give co-ordinates of where I stand, and it works out the stars based
on the time, date, and the direction/elevation I face.

Also, I'd like it to be in a Shockwave Flash format. I know this is a lot to ask
for and quite specific, but can anyone give any good suggestions as to where to
look and what to look for (terminology I may need to use, etc)?

Thanks in advance.

Stellarium does what you want but it's not Shockwave based. It's at
http://www.stellarium.org/ if you can't find anything based on Flash.

Sky and Telescope has a nice simulator like you have described from its
web site, though, as the response from the other poster, I don't think
it is based on Flash.
