Default Breaker Binoculars

Hello, it's me again

Just been to the 'Cash converter' type shop which has these binos for sale.
Breaker jl#4070 (might be sl#4070) look good and their asking £45.

Worth it or walk away? All responses gratefully received.

Neil

They appear to be Polish. Little or nothing out there in English.

- obudowa gumowa
- powloki przeciwodblaskowe rubinowe
- korekcja wady wzroku
- regulacja ostrosci

'Lornetka o bardzo dobrych parametrach optycznych ( duza jasnosc, male
drgania obrazu, szeroki kont widzenia, powloki przeciwodblaskowe rubinowe -
rozjasniajace), dobrze wykonana i zabezpieczona ( obudowa gumowa). Lornetka
nadajaca sie szczególnie do obserwacji przyrodniczych. Swietnie spisuje sie
w trudnych warunkach oswietlenia ( obserwacje o zmroku, obserwacje przy
swietle ksiezyca), na otwartych przestrzeniach ( góry, morze, jeziora,
pola). Odporna na bryzgi wody.'

run through a translator (dodgy, but hey I speaka na Pohlish)
means

Binoculars about very good optical parameters ( big brightness, small image
oscillation stir , wide accounts of visions, ruby coverings
counterreflection - lighting up ), executed well goods (right) and
transmit (be suitable) indemnified ( casing rubber ). Binoculars transmit
(be suitable) for observation natural particularly. Are written down in hard
conditions of illumination about excellently ( observation zmroku,
observation at light of moon ), on opened areas ( mountain (top; up above),
sea, lakes, fields ). On resistant water bryzgi.

:0) Probably makes even less sense than the original...

Pete

What is the diameter of the objectives?

Magnification? Mass?

Did you get a look through them? Did you ask to? Did they
feel like good value?

Strangely, you have just given me one of those moments
where I've been reminded, by seeing your post, of a dream
I had last night. I get that quite a lot. In this dream,
I was evaluating a pair of cheapish 70mm diameter objective
binoculars with a girl, not sure if my sister or a
girlfriend, by looking through them at half-arm's-length,
holding them both ways round, to assess prism size, baffling,
etc. (I'm no expert, though.) Strange coincidence!

Another dream I had later, just before waking up for the
last time, was very powerful. I watched a big passenger
plane very low and nearby outside, on a street, turn, lose
control, and nosedive into some houses on the next street
to me. It was very vivid. At first, the plane had canards
at the front, but that notion seemed to vanish from the
dream shortly after it had crashed. I hope it wasn't a
premonition! Fortunately I don't really believe in them!

I've got a breaker 998 13x70.

I bought them as they were dirt cheap on ebay, and I wanted to practise
using ebay.

They are total rubbish - you can have them if you like; there was a thread
about them here which I joined in after getting them

I think the're far eastern, base purely on the badge which is a map of the
world with the Pacific seaboard in the middle

Your call, but suggest you walk away

What? Don't you ever see something during the day, or
hear something, and suddenly remember a dream you had about
whatever-you-saw the night before? I get it more than
once a week, I'd say.

ANYWAY, THAT'S EASY FOR YOU TO SAY. BUT WHICH ONES?
THE PINK CYLINDRICAL ONES? THE PINK ROUND ONES? THE
BLUE MINI-PILLS (NO, THEY AREN'T VIAGRA!) THE
GREEN-AND-WHITE CAPSULES? THE LITTLE ORANGE CAPSULES?
THE BLUE BOMBS? SO MANY. SO MANY!!! S O M A N Y !
