The evolution of 'big bang' as an idea is hilarious, an idea before galaxies were observed that light from stars travels in a circle otherwise the Universe becomes 'impoverished' -

No point in being critical of pseudo-intellectuals or theorists as they call themselves but the new space telescope can be put to proper uses just as Hubble is. How to interpret images is an altogether different story but the hopelessly homocentric 'big bang' is an indulgence best left for those who know no better.
