Default Fate of Outer Planets in the Sun's Red-giant Phase

In a number of documentaries i've watched over the years when
discussing the fate of the inner terrestrial-planets when the Sun
enters its' red-giant phase it usually only talks about Mercury,
Venus and Earth with Mars mentioned occasionally but almost never
are the outer-planets mentioned.

When the sun enters its' red-giant phase there will be a massive
increase in its luminosity so i'm if for example any of Jupiter's
atmosphere will be stripped off by the massive increase in the
solar radiation it receives?
