Another Elektron problem
This morning, (wednesday), it was reported that Elektron failed again. This
time, the message was "O2 pressure above normal". Crew have already performed some tasks and have more time alloted for Elektron work. They have the elektron experts in moscow who will do some ground commanding of the unit for further tests. Ficke will also reasemble TVIS (the billion dollar threadmill that spends more time in maintenance than in use :-). No mention in the morning DPC of whether any O2 will be released from Progress or from Candles. |
