Mojave Desert ???
COOL!........but not literally......

Still I bet you get the bestest dark skies out of anyone on this
NG.........worth a little starvation and hardship.

Guess you cant have it both ways........if you want all the decadent
trappings of western civilisation (like online shopping, buses, taxis) then
move to a town/city.......but you'll daily curse the light
pollution.........

the supermarket has changed hands and they've never started up the online

When you live on $900.00 a month and if you have a car, that IS a big
deal. I'd like to see you walk to the supermarket that 4.5 miles away in
90 desert heat.

No sympathy here in the UK for you Americans when it comes to petrol/
gasoline prices..........
We pay on average 90 pence per litre..........or £0.90 per 0.2642 US
gallons.....
This amounts to us paying $6.58 per US gallon.........and you think $3
is alot !!!

Still...........it does make it easier to pay when you consider that
about $6 of that is PURE TAX and goes into the governments
pocket.......

LOL

I have a card casno just about a city block away that has 3 bright lights
that floods the field behind them with light, if it wasn't for the one new
home between them and me I would have lost all viewing area. To the south I
have the citys of Lancaster/Palmdale with all their night lights wiping out
most of that sky, to the east is a bit of glow from Edwards AFB, to the
north is Rosamond, only the west is a lot dimmer towards VB AFB and it's
lauching zone. Plus al all thing the so called lady down in trailer #16 has
one of those glairing home lights that lights up the whole area, When I see
it I kind of dream of M-79's from Vietnam.

But with all that, it's still better than being down in L.A. and it's light
dome.

You'll notice that Borked Pseudo who has less of an IQ that Dim the Min
takes a post of mine and turns it into pure 100% trash. He can't even quote
what I wrote. If the rest of his nation is like him, then they are in bad
shape.
