Even if Bbo didn't mean "brightest", it does raise the question ;-) /dps Well they've been showing the trailers which is a bit of a giveaway... unless the show's already been shot. |

They better not get any sci-fi fans or they're going to be trying to climb up to the center of the "ship" and wondering why they're not getting any lighter as they do so. |

I was wondering that myself. I'm fairly sure it's a non-issue, and I'm annoyed at the contempt the programme makers show for the audience. It's not the participants who are being fooled, it's "us" (not me, I don't plan to watch). "We" are supposed to believe that these people think they have been recruited for some space mission. In secret? Anyone remember Helen Sharman - "Astronaut Wanted - No Experience Necessary"? Of course I could be wrong, and the "space cadets" didn't respond to an advert for Yet Another Reality Show. |

Normal practice for "reality" shows like this in the UK at least is to isolate the contestants and a number of spares for some time before the programme starts, usually abroad. No phones, no newspapers, no TV, and each attention seeker gets a minder to make sure they are obeying the rules. I think the mugs they've got for this epic have been in the Netherlands for a month or so and will be flying to "Russia" this week. Anthony |
