advice on choosing a scope
Hi,
I am considering getting a 16" LX200, the problem is I had a 12"LX200 and found the drives under powered for such a large scope. I found out that Meade use the same Motors in the 8", 10", and 12" LX200, has anyone with a 16"LX200 had problems with there scope? and if yes, what sort of problems do you have? I will be very grateful for any advice, thanks. Regards Jim. |

There are a lot of university domes with 16inch LX200 less with 14inch because the 16s last longer. -- Martin Frey http://www.hadastro.org.uk N 51 02 E 0 47 |
