Got my ballot for the election a couple days ago. All mail in here. They used to give you a completely sealable security envelope to go inside the return envelope. Now they only give an optional "security" open folder! Makes it all the easier for the election officials to not only see how you are voting (no security at all), but easily round file those ballots that are voted the "wrong way" for candidates, or against tax raising money measures that might threaten their jobs! Democracy has rotted!

AA go to the voting site.I never write in. Big bad news is Sandy hit truck in front on free way.No one was hurt. It was stop and go,but her car will never pass inspection.Front end about 5,000 bucks to fix. I will not drive on free way anymore its a killer. Cool sunny here for past week. Still waiting on my hearing that is now getting on my nerves. TreBert

No polling places here anymore. You can drop your ballot in a box at a collection site like here at the library, but still you have to sign your name somewhere to have your vote counted, and once it gets to the election headquarters, there is no way of knowing who looks at it or what they do with it.

Illinois primary!

Sports Authority has filed for bankruptcy and may close all stores!

Peabody Energy, the worlds largest coal mining company, filed for bankruptcy!

DOW down 140.25!

Shades of 2008!

All but one of the original 17 Republican candidates have now left the field, leaving only Trump. The Elephant is dead!

Sunny and 84F today here in Gresham as of 4:00 PM PDT. Wind NW at 13 mph.

The Farmers' Market across from the library began its season this morning, but I missed it because I was going across town to my locker. When I was over in that area last week, I noticed one of the furniture stores had closed. Times are not good.

Sunny and 77F as of 4:30 PM PDT here in Gresham. Slight wind from the north.

Over to locker again. I am learning how to overcome the obstacles caused by the track upgrade project in downtown Portland. I found there is a shuttle bus that runs from were the east MAX train service ends, and the west side service begins. The walk isn't usually very far, but with a heavy bag to carry, the shuttle helps.

Just about ready to rent a truck for the big boxes.

Currently 80F as of 4:45 PM PDT here in Gresham. Clear blue skies.

Lunch with Kim yesterday. I showed her a book I have with one of Twittering's poems in it. What a pity she should end up as she did with all the education and high positions credited to her in her bio.

Over to locker again today. Coming back, I noticed I had gotten on the wrong train when the scenery started looking unfamiliar! What a waste of time!
