Default Science Proves Its Critics Wrong

This news article

https://nationalpost.com/news/canada...the-most-study

is interesting, but since it's a scientific study, those who are skeptical about
the validity of science itself will no doubt object to the self-referentiality of
the whole thing.

The very address says "Dunning-Kruger Effect."

Yes, stupid people are stupid. Film at eleven.

If you believe in global warming, then you shouldn't fly to Iceland. Swim maybe, or sail or row a boat. But not fly there.

In fact, I did fly there. Other than being eight hours in a tin
can, it was a very pleasant flight. And I have doubts that
global warming has much to do with their history of volcanic
eruptions, which are the greatest hazard to air travel (as
demonstrated a few years ago).

Volcanoes have nothing to do with this.

That's what I said, yes.

The ancestors of current-day Icelanders arrived in longboats
powered by wind, currents, and oars. If you were concerned
about your contributions to CO2 in the atmosphere, you should
have used some similarly green mode of transport.

And if you're worried about your contributions to CO2 in the
atmosphere, you should shut down your computer, put it in a box, and
throw it in a swamp. Along with every other device you own that uses
electricity.

Most of the foods that scientists go around genetically modifying are not the kinds of foods that I would want to eat anyway.

To paraphrase what one scientist said, "Your system can't distinguish cereal without sugar from sugar without cereal."

So the anti-GMers are right, but for the wrong reasons.

Maybe the global warming cabal can set-up re-education camps?

They already have. We call them public schools.

They'd certainly like to. Though one cannot help but wonder how much
of the re-education would take place in showers.
