I have experienced wind directions pretty much from all directions here in the near central US. Are you saying that in Asia, for example, there are only eastward directed winds? |

east's direction wind
peter The wind blows from Spain to Florida, and Columbus, and his two
great Portuguese navigators knew that. Going up the Eastern sea board you turn east at about the latitude of Massachusetts, and it swings you back west Those two Portuguese navigators knew that Trade winds make sailing great distances possible. You can use them almost like a compass. peter best to keep in mind "No matter which way the wind blows man sets his own sail" Best to set your sail in the direction of a trade wind Map of Earths wind directions and remembered is good knowlege to have Bert |
