Default Reasonable price 4 Rukl Moon Atlas?

Anybody have a clue as to what a reasonable/fair price would be to pay for
an essentially new, never used copy of A. Rukl's- Atlas of the Moon, with
dust jacket?

I'm finding prices of $300-600 US on some of these used book web sites.
Does anyone really pay this kind of money for these things?

Thanks,
F Marion

Keep an eye on Astromart. They go for far less there. High price I've
seen is $150

this out of print book is seldom available and has reached collectible
(hysterical) status. there is no predictable price. it sells for whatever
someone is willing to pay at a particular time influenced greatly by
competitive bidding. there have been rumors the book will be reissued and
that would bring prices to a reasonable level.

peace,
jon

I've also read that this rumor has been a rumor for several years?

Do you know anything about that?

Thanks,

it's just that - a rumor, with a touch of wishful thinking, perhaps.

In May, 2000 I visited the offices of S&T. I was told then that the
new Rukl would be out that fall.

I'm still waiting..........

The fellow to ask is Gary Seronik. I have been told he is presently working
with Tony Rukl on the fine points of the new edition.

Sky Publishing intends to reissue Rukl's atlas, with an estimate of a
Summer release. I think it would be wise to hold off until then on
purchasing it.
