Not a bad prog IMHO. Interesting film of Fred Hoyle and others.

I thought the most interesting story was of the public visitor to one of the
US observatories in the 1950's saying they could see the Crab Nebula star
flickering.

Presumably well within the capacity of a reasonably well-equipped amateur to
demonstrate, these days.
