Default Are Virtual Photons Heavier Than Light Photons?

I am asking this question because they are not detected in the spectrum
but are just as real. They do react with regular particles. They can be
measured. Reality is they can be felt. It begs the question. What makes
them different and I can only come up with heavier. Your thoughts would
be appreciated Bert PS could we invent a virtual photon laser?
