So do continue to be mindful of all this, and shield yourself when working. Darla nightbat Hello Darla, your transmissions are coming in loud and clear tonight. How is the space mission proceeding and speaking of shielding, what star ship shielding to you use to protect your delicate skin from the toxic far outer space cosmic radiation you may encounter? Well these net deluxe UFO pocket detectors are finally paying off because you sound like you're right around the corner. Or are you taking advantage of a P-burst to come in so crystal clear? How is my Sil, please say hello for she cheered me up when I was down. (:~) the nightbat Sil Nightbat, Darla attempted a response, but it didn't get through because she is beyond the modulated P-burst range. It did get through to me, though, so I can relay it to you as follows: nightbat Thanks sweetness for the relay. You're very welcome, Nightbat! Darla Hello, The Nightbat, your transmissions are beginning to fade, so I conclude that I'm coming to the outer edge of the P-burst range. The shielding used is an alloy, and many of its ingredients remain to be discovered by your science. Their search for protection while on Mars will bring some of this to light. nightbat Ok, ok, understand, your message is being attenuated and relayed via Silouen's comm. Alloy composite shielding you report, excellent, a form perhaps of high grade uni tile membrane gold or other precious metal embedded reflector shield. We haven't been able to artificially produce or manipulate elements at this time to acquire high grade Earth made reflector material or extreme bonded high prolonged stress alloy composites. The best we have are reentry entry flight surface tile materials that are space age glued, and are very unpredictable, dangerous, and presently restricts Nasa mission safety and efficiency. Well, Darla finally found something! Seems she gets within a few hundred thousand light years of Andromeda -- and the whole bleedin' galaxy DISAPPEARS! It HAS to be a REFLECTION of the Milky Way galaxy after all! It MUST be! In fact, the Virgo supercluster is just a reflection of our Local Group. And all those hundreds and thousands of other superclusters? Why, they're all detailed reflections of the Virgo SC. So it all must boil down to just our galaxy. It and its few satellite galaxies are all that exist, and all the farther-away galaxies and clusters are just reflections and super-reflections of our Milky Way. What a tremendous find, eh?!!! Silouen: Hello, Sil. Yes, holy ****, this is indeed *big* news, but not of the good kind. Indeed, it is most troubling. We have come to the disturbing conclusion that our entire universe resembles the inside of a multi reflective hyper-object. Why is this disturbing? Is it because it assults our ego, knowing that we are indeed at the center of the universe, but that the universe has been demoted down to almost insignificance? No, not quite. While the universe-bubble we currently exist within has lost several thousand percentage points in size, whittled down to an island of stability a mere 2 million light years in radius, our very survival - the survival of every living sentient entity in existance- is placed in jeopardy. You see, our universe is like one of the 'imaginary particles' I invoke within my theory for superluminal communications to bring it in line with the quantum theory. Not being 'real' in any meaningful sense of the word, the existance of an imaginary particle is governed not by energy equations, but solely by the Uncertainty Principle. The more virtual mass such a particle displays, the longer its life as a stable entity. Now, with the belief that the universe is billions of years old, and has billions of years left to go, we had thought there would be plenty of time to develop a way for our evolved descendents to escape our dying universe for another, fresh one. Now that we know the truth, that the universe is literally thousands of times smaller, and billions of time less massive than it was thought to be, the lifetime of the cosmos will also be much shorter. Much, much shorter. Termanially so. Instead of living in what we had thought to be a young universe with a glorious life ahead of it, we in truth are probably living at the end life of a terminally old space time bubble. When things begin to destabilize, this universe will probably not take very long to literally evaporate back into the quantum foam, taking us all with it into oblivion when it happens. This Changes Everything. Darla, Pere, Pom, Yubiwan, Indeed, everyone interested in living: This news changes everything regarding first contact and the survival of all life in this universe. We are now understanding that we exist within a spacetime bubble of diminutive proportions. The program must be changed from one of exploring this cosmos, to one of escaping it. Hopefully, we still have millions of years left before the final destabilization begins. To humanity, who measure lifetimes in mere decades, a million years sounds like a long time. You know better. Seans think things through carefully before implimenting change. In our discussions, Yubiwan has mentioned the fact that it took 30 million years to go from the discovery of natural P-waves, to using them as a communications medium. Prose Pere in his discussions of the DRILL has also mentioned the timescales involved in developing that discovery. I put it to you that you No Longer have that Luxury. How many hundreds of millions of years will it take for you to develop a methodology of escaping this bubble universe en masse without our help? Do you now think Murphy's law will allow you that time? Why humanities help? Because we do things quickly. That very quality that keeps most of you wondering how we have managed to keep from destroying ourselves is exactly the missing quality that will reduce the development time of a new hyper-cosmos technology down from hundreds of megayears to hundreds of kiloyears. We need each other in what will become a mutually beneficial realtionship, based on mutual survival. Make no mistake on this: the very fact that I, a human, am sounding the early warning on this discovery, while all others are still in the shock-and-awe wonderment stage, should clue you in on this. Time to cut out the hankey-pankey, and break the ice. We now have Real Work to do before it is too little too late. To Officer Nightbat: Time to revoke all passes and cancel shore leave for all intrepid space cadets. We have much to do in order to prepare our ship for the coming mega-storm. Prepare for War...This is not a drill.... Greysky |

[snip] I knew it! I knew it! The universe is small after all! And probably very young! And undoubtedly square! Double-A nightbat Officer Double-A respectfully try for a moment to Officer think outside the flat sided box not in it, the ongoing energy space-time according to report from Sil and Darla is infinite just our galactic Universe bubble is multi reflective against the dark uniform energy continuum. Double-A: But nightbat, I've just started to think inside the box! Double-A nightbat wrote Yes, apparently and according to Sil per Darla's discovery we have all been in the box trying to make it out. But if their on site outer reach findings are correct then we are all physically embedded in an immense but finite bubble of disturbed energy against the backdrop of black reflective infinite uniform dark energy. And energetic radiating photons of multiple wide spectrum wavelengths whether in particle or wave form do have an surface reflective ability as well as an absorptive further counter transforming one. What a chilling sight that must have looked to far out there Darla has she peered into that bleak endless darkness. the nightbat |
