that we professors and teachers of astronomy note that the earth
rotates once, four minutes shy of 24 hours. The effect can be
observed by anyone, that the stars rise in the east 4 minutes
earlier each night. School kids, using two sticks can sight any
prominent star in the nighttime sky two nights in a row and time
that the star lines up with the two sticks every 23h 56m and 4s.

Timekeeping was and is a wonderful creation borne from marking the daily and annual motions of the Earth in combination. As daily rotation dominates and we filter all observations through that motion, the most basic connection and experience will always be the appearance of the Sun followed by the appearance of the stars within each rotational cycle from one dawn to the next dawn.

The empiricists temporarily managed to create a divide using 'solar time' and 'sidereal time' hence the hideous and catastrophic assertion that the Earth rotates separately to the Sun and the stars using the calendar framework and the 24 hour clock.

The reception or rather, the reaction to the principles which merge the daily and orbital motions with timekeeping using the astronomical event where Sirius was seen to skip and appearance by one day and rotation can be dismaying given that it is a delightful astronomical event which defines the Earth's orbital position in space using the number of rotations across 4 annual cycles of the Earth. Again, observers gauge all events using daily rotations including how many times it turns as it completes an orbital circuit with 4 circuits providing a close approximation for determining 365 1/4 rotations per circuit.

All life responds to a turning Earth, even dull minds unable to appreciate what their bodies answer to. No greater insult than that hence it spares me having to insult those who choose to insult themselves and make a mockery of human intelligence.

The 24 hour and the Lat/Long systems are tied in with the Pi proportion as they contain the facts of a round and rotating Earth where 15 degrees of geographical separation correspond to 1 hour time difference and a maximum Equatorial speed of 1037.5 miles per hour therefore turning the planet's 24901 mile circumference in 24 hours.

These systems themselves are contained within the parent observation that the Earth turns close to 365 1/4 rotations per circuit using 4 annual circuits to bring rotations into a close proximity with orbital circuits.

Fools try to bypass the observation that the appearance of the Sun followed by the appearance of the stars each day due to a single rotation for the utterly stupid ideology based on circumpolar motion and their equatorial mounts insist that the Earth turns 366 1/4 times in 365 1/4 days lack the basic intellectual skills to function as productive humans.

The wider population is subject to an assault using terms such as 'overwhelming evidence' regarding planetary temperatures yet here we have a group unable to correlate the daily temperature fluctuations with each rotation -

It is not the presence of people willing to believe that there is one more rotation than there are days across an orbital period due to a 'solar vs sidereal 'fiction but rather the absence of people who can accept the principles where each 24 hour day corresponds to one rotation and a thousand days correspond to a thousand rotations.
