Default Astronpomy Site Upate for July

The Salopian Web has been updated for July 2003. Find out about the
forthcoming closest appproach of Mars - so pay a visit at
http://www.r-clarke.org.uk

These pages are updated on the first of every month, and include news views,
events & star charts for both hemispheres, a sky diary, a guide to the
current month's astronomical events, Beginner's Guide, choosing a
telescope, lunar phases, sunset and sunrise times, moonrise and moonset
times, details of the solar system, astronomy books and software, a
description and mythology of all 88 constellations with maps, and visibility
of the major planets for the current month. There is also a handy
astronomical dictionary / glossary, satellite data, space station visibility
times, site search, Planetary Data, and much more.

Dear Dr. Clarke,
I am shock and awed by your mother-of-all astronomical website.
But what is "Salopian" ? It is Alien to me.
Thanks
Khoon.

starry starry nights!

So watch as we go 'round in circles,
Ending back where we began,
And there's only one outcome
For anyone's time--
Each of us getting a tan.
