Why ? Quite simply, Distance = Speed x Time , and distances are simply

Speeds would have to be multiples of light speed for practical travel
between the stars, and this is clearly impossible.

And worm holes, a breach in the space-time continuum, are not
possible.

Kind of pointless isn't it--all these potential friends that cannot get together to trade their technology have a little fun.

You dismissed some of science. Dismiss a little more.

You think you could "have a little fun" with an alien woman that looks like a three-headed Rhinoceros?

I have 285 million alein races, and most are in the IQ range of humankind. That means no have ventured out into deep space. There could be a billion but universe is short on H2O.Bert

The universe has plenty of H2O, Bert.

It has to be warm water. That;s the way microbes like it.Me too when I bath. Our blood is kept at 98.That's the way our brain likes it. Some microbes like cold water like the ones in the subterranean ocean of Pluto.

Have the Starbucks in CA gotten their liquor licenses yet? I heard a long time ago that that was coming. I can't wait to be able to order their Irish Coffee as my morning eye opener!

See the episode on Pluto on the science channel on "How the Universe Works."

Scientists deduced the subterranean ocean on Pluto by geological formations on

the surface. The water is not frozen or even totally cold because it is heated

geothermally.

We will have to wait until we hop into a space ship and travel there.
