The Universe as an Extension of Earth's Atmosphere

Having to be so fast with this that I can't do it justice, again.
Nevertheless, here goes: One reasonable possibility is that from God's
POV, the Universe is just an extension of Earth's atmosphere. I am not
making reference to creation science, here, but to Daniel the Prophet!
And to the future history of space exploration!

In the linked-to post, I pointed out the proposal by at least the
bible commentators at the Institute for Creation Research, http://www.icr.org/
, that America and the British Empire, as a combined entity (another
God's POV thing), are prophesied in at least the Book of Daniel. Here
is another proposed, combined entity: The Earth's atmosphere and space
- all of space!

I say this because of the beasts in one of Daniel's visions having
WINGS. In the post above, it is noted that one of the visions of
Daniel is understood to be a reference to the current phase of world
history, not to the past (so much). In this vision, Daniel saw four
beasts. Many commentators have long viewed these beasts as
representing certain major empires of world history, spread out in
time, and that much of this history is already past. Because ANOTHER
of Daniel's visions is a clear reference to: first Babylon, then the
empire of the Medes and Persians, then Alexander the Great, then Rome,
this vision I am referencing, with the four beasts - two of whom are
equipped with WINGS - is ALSO interpreted by many to be another
version or view of those same historical empires.

But the Institure for Creation Research, http://www.icr.org/ , in its
commentary provided with its excellent Defender's Study Bible,
proposes that this one vision of Daniel and its four beasts point to
current and recent times, and that the empires the beasts represent
live at the same time, and STRIVE AGAINST EACH OTHER, in concurrent
time.

In this vision. in Daniel chapter 7, Daniel saw four beasts: a lion
with eagle's wings, a bear, a leopard with four heads and four wingss,
and a beast with ten horns.

While you can look up Daniel chapter 7 anywhere, I recommend doing so
at the ICR website and its bible search facility. This is because
doing so will bring up their notes and commentary. Direct references
to specific passages in the bible, on the ICR website, do not come
through as workable links that I can provide. So you would need to go
to the ICR website, click search, click bible, and repeatedly click on
"next chapter," starting at Daniel chapter 1, until you get to Daniel
7. Here's a working (I think) link to the ICR bible search page, but
then you have to select "Daniel" and page through, chapter by chapter,
as I said:

As opposed to many other commentators, the ICR insists these four
beasts of Daniel 7 represent current, near future, and recent history,
as follows:

The EagleLion is the combined America-and-British-Empire entity.

The Bear is Russia/USSR.

The Four Headed, Four WInged Leopard is a yet-to-be established
partnership, or some kind of combined entity, involving four Asian
powers, almost asssuredly involving China, and likely including India,
and two other Asian powers, such as possibly Japan or Korea.

The Ten-Horned Beast is the reemerging European juggernaut.

I point all this to get to my main point, he the WINGS of the
beasts.

First, a note I wanted to make in the original EagleLion post but did
not have time: the Lion (Britain) had wings even before America (the
Eagle) invented the airplane. This is because Britain had global reach
with its navy, going back to even the 16t00s.

AmeriBritain DEFINITELY had wings by the time of the rise of America
and by the time America invented the airplane. By the time the Eagle
landed on the Moon, the EagleLion's wings were fully grown and
functioning.

The "Asian Confederacy," (that is, the Leopard), to call it something,
has wings, in part because air power, far reaching naval power, and A
REACH INTO SPACE are a significant part of its attributes.

Well, don't the Bear and the Ten-Horned Beast have wings? Yes, though
not in the vision, because wings are not as important an attribute. Of
Course, Russia, the Bear, being first into space, has wings. But note,
GLOBAL REACH haw never been a prime attribute of Russian military
power! Regional Influence is Russia's main power. Note, Russian
leaders have long complained that Russia/USSR is/was surrounded by
AMERICAN AIRBASES. Not the other way around! Global reach with air/
naval power is more of a significant attribute of America and Britain,
not of Russia.

Doesn't the EuroBeast have global reach/air power? Yes, but in the
vision, the MOST notable attribute(s) of the Ten-Horned beast have to
do with WORLD DOMINATION. Apparently. or at least one possibility is,
that Europe is going to achieve this less by ability to project power
militarily than by general influence and leadership. In any case, from
Europe will arise the Antichrist, and he will have the world for a
short time. This GLOBAL POWER of the Eurobeast is it's main attribute.
A strong navy or air force, with global reach, in and of themselves,
are apparently less an attribute of Europe, than Europe's just plain
TOTAL POWER to control the other beasts, eventually.

So, whether ability to extend power by navy, or ability to fly in the
air and extend power that way, or ability to GO INTO SPACE - "The
eagle has landed!" - it is ALL THE SAME TO GOD: He describes those
entities whose abiltiy to go through air and/or space as a signficant
attribute of theirs, as HAVING WINGS.

So, the WINGS OF THE BEASTS relate to both air power and a certain
amount of space travel/space power!

In this proposal of mine, just like America and Britain can be viewed
as one entity by God, so can the atmosphere and space!
