The Astro Post now features a real-time chat room for your amateur
astronomy discussions, arguments, and generally flattering remarks to each
other.

You will find the entry point for it on the home page of The Astro Post.
There is no registration involved and no cookies placed on your computer;
just enter a nickname and jump in. Is there someone here at S.A.A. with
whom you would like to chat? Why not set a date and time to meet them
there. This might really assist in technical equipment related questions
where the back and forth posting nature of usenet just doesn't cut it.
Sure, you could do the same thing on any number of instant messenger
services, but HEY!. . .now you have the option of an amateur astronomy
dedicated locale.

P.S. Take it easy on me grin). . .I am trying to craft a different and
useful website for the amateur astronomer.
