ET breaks up over Atlantic Ocean?
From:
http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/new...7/1047_am.html Says (paraphrased) that ET breaks up and ultimately ends in bits in the Atlantic Ocean. Is the location accurate? Early in the program, it was dumped in the Indian Ocean... then later, just west of Hawai'i? And now the Atlantic Ocean? Is location, assuming ET SEP at roughly same time every mission, a function of the orbital inclination? -Dan |

Hi Jorge,
Actually it depends on the intended inclination of the final orbits elements. This launch was highly inclined and sent the flight over the Atlantic for a much longer path than the more usual flights that launched satellites in the past. I think the ET was dumped early just before or past the Canary Islands in this case. Have you sewn any hackenkreuz armbands for yourself yet? Bought any brown shirts lately? Stood on any streetcorners? You're obviously good at distributing misinformation. Thanks, Rick Jorge R. For the proposed "Baseline Reference Missions" 3A and 3B (single-orbit spacecraft deploy and retrieval, respectively), the ET would have impacted in the South Pacific, around 52 degrees south latitude. -- JRF Reply-to address spam-proofed - to reply by E-mail, check "Organization" (I am not assimilated) and think one step ahead of IBM. |

HI JUSTIN,
I don't think the Shuttles have the capability of achieving Polar Orbit from KSC. Those missions would have to be launched from Brandenburg - and I guess that's not a given at this time. The sad thing is - the US "intelligence" agencies have spent about 200 billion dollars for these specific satellites to get to space on the Shuttles. AND now, this pressure from the MIC is why the shuttles are up and flying despite huge questions about safety or relevance. I think Rove is facing a life sentence - if not hanging under the Patriot Act. I think Cheney is going to serve a 20 year term for obstruction of justice. GW is irrelevant - without handlers, the guy is a retard. AND SO IT GOES.. It would be nice if liberal folks organized against fascism before it takes power. So many flights to Canada. Sorry, this plight of idiots battling idiots will become a TRUE HELL GW will use the advice from Cheney and Rumsfeld and have his Dad assassinated in and "AL-QUEADA" event to make their triumverate forever powerfully filling Rove's amazing BJ mouth full of jism..
