Default illuminated traffic cones

I've never posted before but thought someone might be interested. A few
years ago I bought some 18 inch traffic cones and a bag of cheap tea
candles. The candles are bright enough to illuminate the cones, a dull red
glow, and last for six hours. I usually observe with a small group from a
State Park parking lot. During Mars madness we had a few hundred people
visit after dark and the cones helped divert cars, keeping us an' our
equipment safe.

Sounds like an excellent method of crowd control. Thanks for the tip.

The illuminated cones are also eye catching at a dark site. The first time I
visited Scott's group I would have
drove right past had it not been for the orange glow from one of the parking
lots.
