The moon is getting pretty bright and still dialing in the new mount

I'd not seen mention of it in your posts before. I thought the old one was doing just fine for you. Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |

I have had it for about a week. The goto is VERY accurate. Getting it to
autoguide has been a struggle, last night was the first night I had any success after three nights of frustration. Rick Johnson wrote: When did you get the new mount? Great image John! I've always liked this object since it was the "first light" view for a 12.5-inch F/6 Newt that I made back in the early 80's. That scope was eventually sold and is still being used by the guy who bought it. George N |
