Default NASA PDF - European Space 1962 - Blue Streak diagrams

Here's a document from the NASA Marshall Spaceflight Center in 1962.
It reports on early cooperation among European nations in space
exploration. There are some nice diagrams in this document of the Blue
Streak rocket and its engines.

Excellent. Check pages 23+, about the Woomera launch site. Blue Streaks were
eventually launched from there IIRC, but in the north-westerly direction,
over a network of roads especially built in the Gibson and Great Victoria
Deserts to recover data and spent stages.

Rusty

Speaking of European lunar and deep space payloads, stay tuned for my
paper "ESRO and the deep space" to be published in the Space Chronicle
supplement of the JBIS
