Default Von Braun's Popular Science series

Been doing some scanning this weekend, and found a bunch of Popular
Sci, Mechanix Illustrated etc type magazines from the 60's. I came
across 4 articles by Von Bran written for Pop Sci (A living room in
space, one on computer components getting ever "smaller", Space
Walks, and one on practicing lunar landing. In addition found one
written by Willy Ley illustrated by Bob Mcall (Aug 66). This
article's illustrations by Mcall show an HL-10 like derivative
dispatching an EVA astronaut who is making spam out of a vehicle with
Newt-suit like scissor hand attachements! These illustrations I do
not recall seeing before. The Von Braun articles were certianly not
high brow, but they did the trick back in your teens. These magazines
are endlessly readable(even now) with all their incredible adds and
articles! Does anybody have a handle/info on his association with PS
and how many articles he either ghosted or wrote for them?

Enough to fill a book, called "Across the Space Frontier" published in
1967 and revised 3 or 4 years later. It's a very dated book now, but
it is well written and has a nice nuts-and-bolts feel to it.

"Across the Space Frontier" was published in the early 1950s and was based
on a series of articles that first appeared in Colliers.

You're right; I just checked Amazon. The book I was thinking of is
entitled simply "Space Frontier."
