Default No Confirmed Aliens So Far ...

Hate to rain on UFO buff's picknik BUT, it's really no surprise that
we are NOT inundated by hordes ( or even just one ) of aliens. Fact is
that space is just too very big for ever the possibility of that.

We, God, all aliens, and everything else, are limited by the absolute
speed limit of c = 3 E8 meters / second. The very fastest things that
we now know of ( light, electric, magnetic, gravitational ),
disturrbances are all limited to c.

Space travel is certainly likely to be far, FAR less than c. Our
fastest probes so far are tens of thousands of times slower. A trip to
our very nearest star would take over 100 MILLENNIA, and to our very
nearest galaxy ( Andromeda ) 300 E12 MILLENNIA !

Just to keep thinngs in perspective, the time since Christ and the
Roman empire has only been a measly 2 MILLENNIA !

*** besides, if we theoretically could achieve something
like 99% SOL, a collision with a single molecule floating in
outer space would like a nuclear explosion. Of course the
space nuts would point out that we could surround the
spaceship with a deflector shield ... right ... I'll tell that
to the tooth fairy ...

Space aliens--otherwise known as space cadets--do not care about the so called scientific limitations on velocity we have placed on ourselves. They zip around the Cosmos between stars even though some of the dumber of us say it cannot be done.

I keep reading about how people used to say the steam engine travel at
speeds of over 40 MPH,.....would kill people.
Then later we were told the sound barrier was impenetrable.
Seems every time someone creates an arbitrary limit,....some smart ass comes
along and keeps proving them wrong.

But I'm sure any aliens reading your post, got a good chuckle out of it.

I agree with SteveGG about the above.

That is true.
Perhaps. But I kind of doubt someone will prove
that something can be faster than the speed of light.
But, sure, keep trying to figure it out.

Well Einstein and others have demonstrated that nothing material could
ever go at near or exceed c. I didn't mention it but indeed a
collision with a grain of mater would result in a nuclear bomb like
explosion.

Fact remains, that Earth's never been visited by extraterrestials. All
that nonsense about ancient pyrimids is just so much BS.

Well you could look into quantum particle theory, about "spooky action at a
distance".
Of course even Einstein couldn't figure that one out, but he still admitted
it existed.

https://phys.org/news/2015-11-nist-t...-distance.html

Once the slopehead humans figure it out, travel anywhere in the universe
almost instantaneously, just might happen.
And it may as simple as re-writing a bit of code in the holographic universe
program.

Einstein says E = mc squared. That is the speed of light multiplied by the speed of light. Yes Einstein did indeed say things can go faster than the halo of light, which is all of light we currently perceive.

When you go fast enough you escape the space fabric and objects in space are no longer a threat.

Good post. I agree with this.

I think humans as a race need to be more humble. What we know &
understand has limits.
