Default New Space Colonies book

Just wanted everyone to know that Al Globus (NASA-Ames) has written a new
book about space settlement titled "Orbital Space Colonies" to be released
by Windstorm Creative. An excerpt (Introduction and part of Chapter 4) is
available on the Space Settlement site at

We should ask, critically and with appeal to the numbers, whether the
best site for a growing advancing industrial society is Earth, the
Moon, Mars, some other planet, or somewhere else entirely.
Surprisingly, the answer will be inescapable - the best site is
"somewhere else entirely."

I hope you'll give an Amazon link as soon as this reaches the market.

Globus acknowledges the huge up-front investment an O'Neill colony would
require before a return is enjoyed.

Does he suggest incremental ways to build cylindrical habs?
