Water or lack of on the moon
Does anyone have predictions about the results of the LCROSS experiment? I think there is some water in those southern dark craters. But if the rocket stage had hit a serious ice deposit NASA would have announced preliminary results within a few hours. So I see two possibilities. 1- The rocket stage hit a bedrock outcrop. Would this explain the small amount of material ejected? 2- There is some ice but it is in very small quantities. Any thoughts? Alain Fournier |
