Why cant Hubble operate at 2500 NM
Now I know the reasons. the electronics would be fried by the van allen belts
and besides the temoperature would be different, preventing the proper operation of the electronics. Unfortunately I told a friend this and he thinks I am nuts. That may be so but not on this info. Is there a good site somewhere that talks of this issue, so I can educate him?

Just ask your friend about all the other spacecraft that he knows
