Peter looked at his chart and said, "With your excellent record, you
have a choice - you can come into Heaven or go down to Hell if you

Confused, the man asked how could that be a realistic choice.

Peter explained calmly that he could try out each one for a few minutes
if he wanted, then make his final decision.

Curiousity overcame the man. He toured Heaven for a few minutes -
clouds, harps, angels playing badminton, etc.

Then he visited Hell. When the door opened, there was a tremendous
party going on. There was delicious food everywhere, taps for his
favorite beers, smiles and laughter everywhere. A girl in a skimpy
devil outfit started flirting with him. This was not what he had
expected. Maybe his church had it wrong all along?

He went back to the Pearly Gates to see St Peter again. Peter asked,
"So now that you've seen both, what's your decision?" The man told
Peter that things were far different than he had anticipated.
"Actually, I'd really like to go back to Hell."

Peter sent the man on his merry way. This time, when the door to Hell
opened, there was fire and brimstone, screaming and crying, people
being tortured in grisly way. All imaginable manners of agony filled
the room.

"Wait a minute! Wait a minute!" protested the man. "I was here just a
few minutes ago, and there was a wild party, food, booze, women... what
the heck is going on?!?"

"Oh that," chuckled the Devil. "That was our demo copy."
