Oddly enough, the impact crater is a great example of the genesis of a crater in presumably packed/sandy material. The debris rays are totally symmetrical. I hope the project is not a complete failure and much of the captured particles remain pristine. |

In 20 years, they'll be talking about the cover-up. ;-) Regards, Uncle Bob __________________________________________________ _____________________________ Posted Via Uncensored-News.Com - Accounts Starting At $6.95 - http://www.uncensored-news.com The Worlds Uncensored News Source |

After Beagle 2 disappeared, now Genesis crashed... :-( (As far as I know, Colin Pillinger was one of the persons who were going to evaluate Genesis results, right?) - Alex |

Pretty embarrassing, especially with all the hooplah, to do such a mission and have the parachute fail. |

It was really spectacular footage--thought I doubt they'll be playing it much on NASA-TV History/Video files. Is the video crash replay online anywhere? I did a quick look-around and didn't find it. |

They still have hope for recovering some of the solar samples. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
