Default 4 Billion A.D.

Scientists are already planning on sending a seed ship to Alpha Centauri about

the year 4 billion before the Sun goes red giant and destroys us all. It would

take about 20 years to get there at 20% of the speed of light. Omitting time

dilation. It would seem scientists are planning to live on by their posterity.

Conceivable. Human beings have always thought that way.
