Or now, to a reference derived from fundamental natural law (as opposed to the indirect application of natural law in the behavior of mechanical systems). You stuck your head into a thread last week and failed to expand on how to square Newton's description of the Equation of Time with the early 20th century bluffing which required the removal of the idiosyncratic but accurate description (absolute/relative time) of the difference between natural noon and 24 hour noon. You don't have a snowball in hell's chance of understanding the so-called inverse square law of Newton without the flaws in Huygen's description - " Here take notice, that the Sun or the Earth passeth the 12. Signes, or makes an entire revolution in the Ecliptick in 365 days, 5 hours 49 min. or there about, and that those days, reckon'd from noon to noon, are of different lenghts; as is known to all that are vers'd in Astronomy. " Huygens There is a difference between bluffing in a specific way as Newton did as opposed to the indiscriminate bluffing of his followers ,you included. Think twice before commenting on a thread I create or don't read/comment at all. |
