Default Binoculars

Dear Group,
I have a low powered telescope, but it is cumbersome to travel with. What
are some good brands and models of binoculars out in the market place today?
Please keep the price into account when replying. $$ is limited at the
moment.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have a pair of Orion Ultraview 10x50's. They're coated for
nightviewing, wideangle.

They were, I think, somewhere around $150. It was a good midpoint for
me between the kind of binoculars you'd find at a sporting good store and a
really high end pair.

Keep in mind that'll probably need to get a tripod for them.
