Default Peak Oil and Astronomy

I have posted sometime ago about Peak Oil and Astronomy and I am doing it
again due to high price of oil. The reason is that price are so high that I
can't afford to get out of city and enjoy astronomy in country area.

To solve my problem, I am thinking of buying a new telescope which doesn't
depend too much on oil and good for someone who lives in an appartment such
as myself.

Once again thank you.
