Wasn't it "Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo"? Are US-Australian relations
that bad that this old gem was renamed? Overtime work at the Ministry
of Truth in Oz?

Where the hell else was the kangaroo supposed to live, if not in the
bush? Was it supposed to get a job in Sydney as a teacher in a school
for wallabies?
Anyway, these days Skippy is a blog: http://xnerg.blogspot.com/

It took around two hours to download; but I did indeed get the whole of
"Challenge To Apollo" burned onto a CD-R;
Now if I could just get the person scanning the books and reports at
NASA to align the things straight on the scanner, rather than having
them be alternately five degrees to one side or the other.
Has anyone looked at the Lunar Gemini plans yet?:

The design approaches to allow the Gemini lunar landing pilot to see the
surface during approach are unique, to say the least.

People are going to start asking,

"Why the sudden CD-R shortage? The RIAA will be upset, thinking of all
the pirate MP3's going on to the recently purchased CD-R's". ;-)

As Emperor of Australia, I hereby decree:

- Move it north of the equator so it shall have
proper seasons at the correct time of year.

It was tried a few years ago, but didn't work out.

Christmas in the summer, who ever heard of such
a thing?

I recall someone telling me that an American couldn't understand why
we call the December-February period "summer" here. Apparently the
temperatures have nothing to do with it... :-)

Also, the water in the toilets (loo) will swirl
the correct direction on the way down.

Someone seriously asked me years ago whether they could bring their CD
collection to Australia, or if the CD would rotate in the CD player in
the opposite direction. Of course I told him that he would have to
replace his entire collection. :-)

-My 17-year old daughter has been talking to a 17-year old guy
in Tasmania over the internet. He MAILED HER A TUBE
OF VEGEMITE! I want him found and punished!

Australia swore off developing nuclear weapons a long time ago.
Vegemite is all we have left from that embyonic program. (Seriously
now - Remember, spread Vegemite *very thinly* on your toast. This is
serious stuff people! It's not peanut butter and "jelly"!) From my
time in Tasmania I can tell you that the Vegemite down there is *much*
stronger than the pretend stuff that "mainland weaklings" can handle.
Tassie Vegemite is a *real man's* yeast extract!! :-)
