Default ASTRO: IC1396 Halpha

Hi everybody,
IC1396 7 X 20 mins with Halpha 6nm filter (astronomik)
8" SCT Meade at F/D5 with lumicon easyguider reducer
MX916 starlight autoguided with starlight autoguider on 60mm refractor.
picture acquired with astroart 4.0 and processed with photoshop
This was performed in an urban sky (Cannes, French Riviera)

Default ASTRO: IC1396 Halpha

Nice image Patrice. The good thing about narrow band is that we city imagers
don't have such a big disadvantage to those under dark skies as we have when
imaging galaxies. If sombody invents a "galaxy filter" I'll be the first one
to buy it :-)

absolutely right on all accounts

I regularly shoot very faint nebulae in mag 3.2 skies
