Default Is sn2005cs still visible?

Hi. At last night's star party, try as I might, I couldn't make out
super nova 2005cs in M51. Just wondering if it's still visible...Dennis

Hum, It has faded somewhat. And is probably beyond the visual reach of
most amateur scopes. A better option is photography.

On another note, there is a magnitude 13.7 Supernova, 2005df, was
discovered on the 29th July 2005 by Robert Evans, in the galaxy NGC
1559, located 15" east and 40" north of the nucleus.
The type is also 1a.

Position(2000): R.A. =3D 04h17m37s.85, Dec. =3D -62=B0 46'09".5
