Default Extensive auroras should occur on the night of the 17th

A major flare has occurred on the sun. The effects of the flare are already
reaching Earth. Extensive auroras should occur on the night of the 17th, if
not sooner. If it is clear in your area, check the night sky. This includes
US, Europe, New Zealand, Tasmania and of course Russia, Alaska, Canada and
Scandinavia.

The range of these inexpensive green lasers is most impressive.
