Default What books about Project Management for space programs?

I'm reading "Von Braun" (Neufeld), and there are notes here and there
about how von Braun thought about managing the large-scale programs.
Has there been a summary of how he did it, how it was done after him,
and what does and does not work?

There seem to be a few NASA papers on the topic, but I find them
impenetrable. I suspect they are written for those who are so far
into the NASA culture that explaining some things isn't deemed
necessary.
