Default Philips Toucam Pro and Laptops

If you anticipate doing the long exposure modifications to your Toucam, be
aware that modern laptops don't have serial or parallel ports any more.
There are ways round it if necessary.

I would advise no less than 500 MHz for the processor and 128 MB for
RAM. Plenty of space on disk (no less than 3 GB free) is also
mandatory as it goes quite quickly while recording.

At least 3Gb. I'm currently recording individual avi files up to 1.3Gb in
length each!
