PHOTO OF THE WEEK, Barnard's Star
It's that time of year again for the Barnard's Star update. There is a
small star very close now that makes it easy to see the motion since last year. js -- PHOTO OF THE WEEK: http://schmidling.netfirms.com/pow.htm Astronomy, Beer, Cheese, Gems, Sausage, http://schmidling.netfirms.com |

I checked out and get the following: 2LY/87mi/sec = 4,278 years not 8000 or, put it another way: 10sec/Yr * Range = 87mi/s Range = 9.643 LY Is there a way to tell whether it might not have other components of velocity than just abaft the Newtonian axis? I enjoyed the rest of your site too. Mr. Dual Space ### Dr.Avash Mitra from India has contradicted Steve Hawkin's theory on blackhole. He has published his paper in some Physics Journal. Can anyone provide the complete reference of Mitra's paper so that one can comment upon his theory. ### (If you have something to say, write an equation. If you have nothing to say, write an essay). |
